Nik: Stumpy. (4:30pm)

I went over to Julia's dorm today to shoot her portrait for view camera, and I ended up staying over for a few hours after to watch amputee porn with her and her friend Ramsay who dropped in for a few minutes.

Nik: The English Are Coming. (9:00pm)

My aunt just got back from England. She bought me a new hat.

I just sat in my PJ's watching the Pro Bowl all day. It was a relaxing day.

Nik: Big Ass Santa. (10:00pm)

We have this light-up Santa at our house. He's there year round. I like him. His name is Beauford, named after my grandmother's Santa.

Nik: Take Me To Your Dealer! (11:00pm)

Went to see Methlaab tonight. The show was amazing, as always. Saw some old friends there, and made some new ones.

Methlaab played the song about highschool that I really like, which I was pretty stoked about.

Got Subway afterwards and chilled out at Tim's. It was a pretty successful night.

Nik: Fucking Trolley. (8:15pm)

Played darts and watched the BBC today with Sam for the better half of the day. Gordon Ramsay has started to influence my fucking speech.

Nik: Nude Towel Woman. (3:30pm)

Today was my first day of classes. Can you tell? Does it look like it?

I need an attractive girl with big, round eyes to pose for me in a towel for a portrait I've had floating around in my head for a few weeks now. Let me know if you're interested.

I had a friend tell me once that the worst mistake you can make is to think that you're alive, when really you're asleep in life's waiting room.

Nik: Are You A Dreamer? (6:00pm)

Jermaine and I made music today. It wasn't beautiful music, or even good music. Hardly even mediocre. But it was music.

School starts tomorrow. I'm nervous.

It's good to be nervous, right?

I always want to write something meaningful here. Every day. I feel like that's a tall order for 365 posts. Maybe I should just spread it out and not stress myself so much. But I really want this project to be important. Every day.

Things have been tough lately for dreamers. They say dreaming is dead, no one does it anymore. It's not dead it's just that it's been forgotten, removed from our language. Nobody teaches it so nobody knows it exists. The dreamer is banished to obscurity. Well, I'm trying to change all that, and I hope you are too. By dreaming, every day. Dreaming with our hands and dreaming with our minds. Our planet is facing the greatest problems it's ever faced, ever. So whatever you do, don't be bored, this is absolutely the most exciting time we could have possibly hoped to be alive. And things are just starting.

Nik: Waking Life. (9:00am)

I woke up and took my photo today just so I could get back to bed. My classes don't start for another 72 hours.

My mountain of blankets hides my naked body (for your sake). I haven't actually slept naked since I can't remember when. It felt so good.

Nik: Our House. (6:30pm)

I've currently been listening to a lot of Madness. I want to create something that's not music, because right now I've hit a creative block trying to write anything worth listening to.

Any ideas?

Nik: "Black Flag?" *PUNCH*! (11:59pm)

This was the last full day of Tim's winter break. We had fun watching FailBlog and moisturizing tattoos.

I had a pretty wild break, and I have to say most of me is sad to see it come to an end.

Back to school.

Nik: Banana Pajamas. (9:00pm)

I went to a party last night. A costume party. Everyone had to dress up as their favorite animal. I was a penguin.

This guy was a banana in pajamas with a laser pointer.

I had a great night.

Nik: I Had A Kid Today. (10:45pm)

I went to Kuma's Corner with Rachel, Sam and Tim tonight. This man, whose name escapes me at this time, offered to buy a round for everyone, because he was 37 years old and had just had a child.

Why this man was shit-faced drunk at a bar on the night of his child's birth is beyond me. But almost immediately after he had offered us a round, he found and told security that we were trying to hustle him into buying us drinks.

The mood swing happened out of nowhere, and before things could keep getting even more out of hand, two of the biggest waiters on staff ushered him outside and wished him a good night.

The burgers were amazing.

Props to Kuma's. I will be back again.

Nik: Victims of Life. (11:00pm)

If you stick one end of an 1/8th inch jack in your output, and one in your input on your computer, you can record things from anywhere off the internet or anywhere else on your computer as long as the sound is passing through your sound card, and you'll have an mp3 of it.

That's how I do it.

Nik: Starting All Over Again. (9:00pm)

I've started on my new album. I was happy with the first one, so I figured "why not try it again?"

Nik: Camera Focus. (9:00pm)

Back home. While getting my studio ready to record, noticed that we have more screen resolution charts than I would know what to do with.

If we ever do shoot that film I was talking about before I left for Kalamazoo, we're going to have the sharpest focused cameras in the world.

Nik: E'rryday I'm Hustling. (4:30pm)

I played a lot of pool in Kalamazoo. I want a pool table in my house now.

Nik: Nuclear Blue Drink. (7:30am)

Today we had our first bit of confusion! Tim thought I meant 7:30pm, and I thought we had agreed on am. Our mistake, won't happen again!

Breakfast for dinner, anyone? How about some nasty looking blue drink to wash down your stale pancakes?

That's what I thought. The cup remained full.

Nik: Going to Kalamazoo. (3:30pm)

I took a weekend trip to Kalamazoo, Michigan to visit some friends. (That's why the blog has been lacking over the past few days.) We're back now, I assure you, and the trip to KZoo went off great. I stopped by Highland, Indiana to grab lunch with Kelly, and she insisted we take two cars.

Nik: Woman on Balcony. (11:00pm)

Tim, Sam Taylor and I all hung out tonight. We wrote a movie. Watch for it to drop some time this summer. I'm serious about getting it made.

I'm pretty proud of it.

I had a bad day today. Something just didn't feel right. Maybe tomorrow will be better.
