I heard some time ago that it's probably a good idea to do something you don't like once every day. For me today, that meant going into my basement with all of the lights off, alone, to do my 365.
I've been scared of my darkened basement for as long as I can remember. It's an old house, the basement's not particularly finished, and it's cold. But, as we are all adults here, (Don't believe me? Check the content warning on our blog now) I decided it was time to put my fear aside and face it, "like an animal that might have to be killed."
Be proud of me. I am.
